Well maintained painted hut in a great position.

(Closest access footpath from The Esplanade is opposite Fourth Avenue across the path on the Greensward) opposite the clock tower.

No steps involved to gain access to the beach hut.

Access from the greenward / parking
There are steps down to the beach, The hut is 7 huts along to the right hand side.

There is a ramp between Huts 214-219 for easy access or for wheel chair users / guests less disabled or for buggies

Steps to the beach are situated each side of the beach hut.

The beach hut is conveniently situated between the thatched toilet facilities at the start of the Wailings, and the attended toilets block on the Greensward at Connaught Avenue (20p charge). The nearest water tap is approx 50m away.

Beach Hut 228 low wall.

The hut interior is open plan with a privacy curtain provided.

Equipment provided includes water storage bottles, crockery, frying pan, saucepan
Wooden bench for eating inside.
Plastic table and four chairs,
4 reclining chairs
Cleaning items.
2 ring hob and kettle.
Gas also supplied.
For the children there is a body board and some beach toys
